Whether you’re planning a weekend escape, a romantic getaway or a countryside break, The Huddle is a perfect base. Located just a short drive from all the unspoilt sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coastline, it is also easy to reach all of Norfolk’s iconic attractions.

Exploring Norfolk is easy from our Brisley village location. The peaceful waterways of the Broads is a 30 – 40 minute drive away. We are surrounded by an extensive and varied network of nature reserves and wildlife habitats . The magnificent Sandringham Estate is 30 miles away, as is the historic port town of Kings Lynn. Outstanding National Trust properties and historic houses can be found within a few miles along with a wealth of medieval churches and other places of cultural interest. The historic and fine city of Norwich, named the Best Place to Live by the Sunday Times in 2026 is a short trip eastwards.
For foodie lovers there is an extensive choice of regional specialities produced nearby along with breweries and distilleries. Sample tasty and artisan fare at traditional pubs, tea rooms, and farm shops , some within walking distance. Don’t miss the outstanding gastro Brisley Bell pub just 500m away!
Forget the car until it’s time to leave
With a huge choice of interesting walking and cycling circular routes direct from the gate it is possible to forget the car until it’s time to leave for home. Routes are conveniently mapped out for you in OS detail. Many, very conveniently, allow you to refresh at a pub or cafe along the way. Extensive walking trails can be accessed elsewhere in the locality.
The local buses take you to the market towns of Fakenham and Dereham, and the bus shelter is just a stone’s throw away. Hop off at one of the villages en route to discover more of the local vibes.
